St. Tropez,France

My hostfamily is leaving for St. Tropez,France this afternoon.But this time,the trip is exclusive for the couple,the children will be taken care of the grandparents the entire weekend.

So out of curiosity,I made a little research about the place and now I already understood why a young couple just like my employers choosed to have a weekend gateaway in St.Tropez.Based on the informations in the net,I can say that St.Tropez is a lovely place to unwind and relax.Here's some info from wikipedia.com :

St. Tropez a commune in southern France,located on the French Riviera. THe place is famous for its famous and wealthy guests,thus, often called the Marbella of France.

According to the legend,Saint Tropez came from St. Torpes,a martyr who was beheaded for his refusal to to give up his faith. His body was thrown into a boat and drifted into what is now called the Golfe de Saint-Tropez, where he finally came ashore.

Set on the blue waters of the Golfe de Saint-Tropez, this modern version of a medieval town is most popular for the line of luxury yachts in her harbour and the facing line of terrace cafés, divided by a parade of strolling tourists and slowly cruising sports cars.Night life is very lively and often one can see helicopters bringing elegant guests to private parties, in one of the many luxurious villas in the bay. a Paris experience

Yesss,I went to the City of Love last September 8-11,2006 to attend the 6th European Singles for Christ Conference. I went to Paris together with 4 other SFC's from Denmark.We arrived in Charles de Gaulle Airport in the morning,so we still had time to relax and make a little tour. We stayed in one of the hotels in Paris.It's not one of the expensive hotels though,but it was a clean one and we had a great time there,since most of the SFC delegates from other countries were also hosted there.

The SFC conference was successful and it was a powerful weekend,indeed.I was able to meet new friends from other countries and had the privileged to see the beauty of Paris.The conference started on Friday evening and lasted until Sunday afternoon. Saturday evening was fellowship time and all delegates and the couple coordinators went sailing along the river near the famous Eiffel Tower.Ohhhh my,I really can't forget that night!I saw Eiffel tower glowing in the night with all it's lights.

We went back to Denmark on Monday evening,so we had the entire Monday roaming around Paris.We visited Notre Dame Cathedral,Sacre Cour,Arc de Triomphe and bought some souvenir items.All of us were really impressed about the beauty of Paris,not to mention their clean surroundings,nice buildings and Paris hotels and many more.

an idea

Hi everyone!I hope all are doing fine.I'm soooo glad that I'm back in the blogging world once again and glad that the laziness that has dominated me has finally went way...:)

And now I'm in the mood of writing about my few travels here,but I was not able to do it coz I felt tired everytime I'll think that I have to write a very long post.An idea came to mind lately and it sounds good.The idea is that I'm gonna write about my travel or vacation by segments,so as not to bored me in writing a very long one.Example if I'll write about my summer vacation in Rome,I'll make a post about my visit to the Vatican City and another post for my visit to the Colosseum.

What do you think of my idea?Anyways,whether you like it or not,it's the way I'm gonna do my posting..ahehhehe

Coca-Cola zero is another product of Coca-Cola Company that's already out in the market for a while.I first tasted Coke zero in a party hosted by my friend's hostfamily about a month ago. The taste is just like the ordinary coke but the good thing is that it has zero calories.A good news to those who loves to drink coke but are trying to have some diet to shed some pounds off.

it's beach time!

Hi everyone!Hope everyone is doing fine.
It was very hot this morning here in Norway,as well as yesterday and it came unto my mind to post the photos that I got during our beach adventure in Denmark during my vacation,but I was not able to do it this afternoon coz I fall asleep,heheheheh.

It was July 25 when we decided to go to the beach.Analyn,Florean,Ninia,Pascal (Ninia's Bf) and I went to Liseleje,to the summerhouse of Analyn's employer which is situated few meters away from the beach.Though the beach was not that nice since it was windy,so the water was not the clear,but despite it,we still had a great time taking pictures and posing for the camera,heheheh.
