    He's looking for some tools

My brother is right here beside me and he's using the other laptop. I taught him more things about the computer and he also sent text messages to his wife and my mother. He's now surfing a lot of things in the net and very happy to see english movies once again. He has a television in his room, but then the shows are mostly danish. So now, he's trying to watch more movies as much as possible and he's multi-tasking too.:): talking with my cousin, watching a movie and surfing the net. He's now checking out Ingersoll Rand air tools. He loves tools eversince and for sure, he'll be surfing for more sites later. I'm really glad that he's really having a good time here.

    Happy together

Hi everyone! I hope that you are all doing well! I'm still here in Denmark and just arrived from my tiring, but very fulfilling travel. I arrived here in DK on December 26 and I went to my brother's place yesterday to visit and bring him here in Copenhagen. I took the bus for 4 hours and and we also left early today. My bro was very happy eating rice for the very first time since his arrival here in Denmark.

We are having a very good chat here with my brother and my cousin. And 2 of my cousins are also coming later and also 2 of my friends. For sure, it will be a very happy and noisy night.:) But it will be fun for sure. Talk to you later folks!

    Leaving for Denmark soon

I'm already very excited to leave for DK (Denmark) on the 26th. I'll take the bus and the travel will last for 8 hours and this time, I'll be travelling alone,:(. But I really have to go there to visit my brother and my cousins and my hostfamily as well. They are all excited to see me, just like me.

My first cousin Florean will pick me up in the bus station. I'm going to stay for a night in my hostfamily's place and on the 28th, I'll go to my brother's place, with the bus, once again. Ohhh ohhh, a tiring trip really. But it won't matter, as long as I'll see my brother. He already told his employer about my visit and it's ok with them and they also gave permission to my brother to go with me on the 30th and celebrate New Year in Copenhagen with my cousins. Yeheyyyyyyyyyyyyy, thanks GOD.

My Christmas celebrations in DK with my hostfamily were really memorable. I really felt that I'm part of their family and I just can't forget their generosity to all, be it a human being or lower forms of animals. My female employer is an animal lover and part of an organization in DK that protects the rights of animals. I can never forget that she'll put drinking water for the squirrels outside. She'll also bake some food for the birds as her christmas gift for the birds and she'll distribute the presents among the 2 bird feeders outside the house. She'll also make a special food for "lille miss", our cute black cat in the house.

My male employer would also prepare a pack of beer for the garbage men during Christmas. They're really very generous and they'll always ask me what I want for Christmas. I'm soo excited to see them once again. I really consider their place, my home away from home.

Wishing a Merry, Merry Christmas to one and all!

    .

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas! May the spirit of Christmas be with you, not only today, but always! Have a wondeful celebration everyone!

It's still December 24 here in Norway and it's still 8:41pm. I'm here in Ate Eve's place and only 3 of us will celebrate Christmas together. A little bit sad. But we're going to have a party tomorrow with the entire gang. It would be fun for sure.:)

Though I'm far from my family, but I'm very happy and soo thankful to GOD for all the blessings He has given me. For giving me a wonderful family and friends. Merry Christmas once again!

    Have some memorabilia

It's always fantastic to have some memorabilia of our favorite books, novels, movies and celebrities as to always remember the scenes, stories or people that inspire us. My hostfamily in Denmark has a memorabilia from the movie "Godfather" and it's hanging on their office wall. And I read the novel when I'm already here in Norway and it's really worth getting a memorabilia because the story is very nice. Superb for me.

If you also want to have memorabilia of your favorite sports, celebrity, novels or movies, try checking out Millionaire Memorabilia. They have a lot of memorabilia for different movies, books, novels, sports, celebrities, etc. that are mounted and framed in creative presentations unlike any others. I already checked their site and I found a memorabilia of one of my favorite novels, Da Vinci Code. Though the Catholic Church is against it, but I love reading it. It didn't alter my faith though and I always put into my mind that it's just fiction. But it's really a very interesting read. If I have the money right now, I want to have this:
    memorabilia

And speaking of memorabilia, I just hope that my brother brought some from Pinas so he has something tangible to look at everytime he'll miss the family back home.

Thanks GOD, he's in Denmark now

I'm really very happy and so thankful to GOD for all the blessings He has given me and for giving my bro a safe trip to Denmark (DK). Yes, my one and only bro is already in DK now. He arrived there on Sunday (Dec. 16)and his male employer fetched him at Bilund airport. I'm glad that he's ok there and the family seems nice. But I havn't speak to my bro thoroughly now coz he's still using his roaming number. I havn't called him yet. He's allowed to use the computer though so he can communicate. I'm waiting for his email until now coz he sent me a text asking what the danish sentence that appears on the screen means, but until now I havn't got a word from him. So I guess, he didn't manage to operate the computer (he's not really good at it). That's why I really have to visit him this coming Christmas vacation.

I already booked a ticket for DK on the 26th with the bus. Ohhhh, a tiring trip for sure. I booked late so the plane is already very expensive. Then I'll stay for a day in my employer's place and go to my brother's place afterwards. His hostfamily is living in the countryside, about 4 hours with the train. I'm going to be there for 2 days and planning to bring him to Copenhagen to celebrate New Year with our cousins, that is if it's ok with his hostfamily.

I'll tell you more about my DK trip when I get back.

    Laziness is attacking me

To my blogger friends who are always visiting me here, forgive me for not having new posts, laziness is attacking me and I just don't have enough energy to blog here. Though I blog in my other blogs, but I just don't feel like making another post about my Rome adventure,:( I'm really sorry. And now, I'm really trying my best to start making entries here and good thing and I have nothing to do here, so I have plenty of time to think and write. I'm right here in my employer's place, looking after the children because the couple is attending a Christmas party. The kids are already in upstairs and I hope they're already asleep because they have to wake up early tomorrow for the Sta. Lucia. It's a tradition here and also in Denmark (and probably in all of Europe) where children sing and bring lighted candles and wear white dress.

I'm actually multi-tasking here in the sofa. Relaxing, thinking, blogging and watching TV,hehehe. I'm just done watching fashion TV and so I'm scrolling the channels. A certain channel is featuring different computer products, flashlights, cable ties, HDMI switches and many more. But I don't think I'm going to stick into this channel coz i'm not in the mood of learning more about gadgets and other electronic stuffs. I'm going to scroll again and try to find some celebrity news,:)

    Be cared for by Bettercaring

Home for the aged is not very common in Pinas and most of our elderlies there will feel bad if they'll be put into a home for the elderlies. They'll feel that we don't love them anymore. My Mama told me that she don't want to stay in the home for the aged too and of course I promise her that I won't do it. I'm going to take care for her.

But here in Europe, putting the elderlies to a care home is very common and for the elderlies here, it's just ok and normal. It really depends on the culture. People here are very busy working, so the elderlies understood that their children have no time to care for them personally. The mother of my male employer here in Norway is in a home for the aged and she's perfectly fine with the arrangement.

If you're in UK and looking for a care home, try Bettercaring. It's a website where you can search their database for all registered care homes in the UK. They also have a forum where you can interact with people who are also looking for care homes and other care-related topics. You can visit them at www.bettercaring.com.

    Fly with Cebu Pacific

If I'm only in the Philippines right now, I'll surely avail of Cebu Pacific's travel promo. I've heard about their promo before from my friend in Pinas who is working in a travel agency. She went to Bohol paying only 1 peso.. ohhh my, soooo cheap! And then I've read in Ate Mich blog weeks ago that Cebu Pacific is having a promo once again. So I checked their site and their offers are really very tempting. If I'm in Pinas right now, I want to book a ticket for Boracay because I havn't been to that paradise before and I'll bring the entire family with me. :)

I just hope that they'll have the same promo next year because I'm planning to go home for vacation and I really want to go to Boracay with my family.

On dvd subtitles and learning to love cartoons

Working as an au pair in Denmark has also introduced me to movies and dvd's with subtitles. I'm not really used to watch movies of TV shows in Pinas with subtitles. But in Denmark and even here in Norway, subtitles are very common. When I already started going to school to learn Danish, I was already focused on the subtitles written below than the film itself, hehehe. Because I'm learning more danish by reading the subtitles. So, I'm listening to the conversation and reading the subtitles at the same time, that I'm not paying attention to the scene on the screen.

When I was still in Pinas, I hate watching cartoons and I'll always get mad everytime my brother will watch cartoons. But Denmark has changed that feeling. The daughter of my employer is really fun of watching cartoons and sometimes she wants to watch the film with me in my room. One time, she was watching Ice Age in my room, so I was forced to watch too. I really enjoyed the movie and I think I was laughing more compared to her. And starting that time, I already love watching cartoons. I borrowed several of their DVD cartoon films with dvd subtitle in English. Among the cartoon movies I like are Shrek and Ice Age. And even here in Norway, I already enjoy watching cartoon movies and shows together with the kids.

If you want to know more about dvd subtitling, you can read more at www.vicaps.com.

    Jewelry business

I remember my Aunt once again and some of my high school teachers who used to sell jewelries as I stumble into D's Keepsakes online store. If you're good in talking to other people and convincing them to buy something, then selling jewelries can be a business or a sideline for you. I love talking to people, but I'm not really good in convincing them to buy something. I'm good at telling jokes, but not in marketing.:)

If you want to sell jewelries to your friends as a sideline or if you already started doing it and looking for more jewelries to sell, pay D's Keepsakes a visit. It's an online store that specializes in wholesale fashion jewelry. I already checked their site and I found a lot of nice pieces that are very affordable. It makes me think to try selling some to my friends and see if I can enhance my marketing skills while earning a little bit. I really can't believe that their prices are really very cheap and the jewelries look very nice. They have necklaces, earrings, pendants, watches and many more. For more details, you can visit them at www.dskeepsakes.com.

    Another year in Norway

Yeheyyyyyy thanks GOD and I just got my Visa extension today and it means that I'm going to have one more year here in Norway and after that, I have to move out. The visa approval is so timely because I'm planning to go to Denmark this coming December 26 and I'm hesitant to travel without my new visa.

So, I really have to think on where to go next because time flies so fast and before I knew it, it's already the end of my contract.
