Sisters

This is the movie that I watch yesterday at dinner time. I was hooked coz the story is interesting, especially after the murder happened. Though I didn't understand it completely.

I tried to Goggled the movie with the words "sisters movie" and a lot of links resulted. I clicked but the links were about different movies. And so I changed the words to "sisters 2008" and there I found a single link to it and there's no official website of the movie, maybe coz it's really a new movie. This is the only info I got from the Sisters link:

"A pair of Siamese twins are separated and one is forced to live a sheltered existence under the watchful eye of a controlling psychiatrist."

The story was indeed about twins, Angelique and Annabelle, but it was already in the near end of the story that they were siamese twins. And too bad coz I didn't understand the story completely though I tried my best to figure it out. I was confused how the reporter Grace became Annabelle in the end. I really don't know.

Everytime I don't understand a movie, I always Google it to read the summary to enlighten me, but this time, a summary and enough explanation is not even available. I'll hope more links to it will be available soon coz the ending of the story really bothers me,:( I want to know more about it.

Watched a movie instead of exercising....

I'm already up and it's still 2:27am here. I fall asleep unintentionally last night and thus the unintentional early waking up,hehehe. But I'll go back to sleep after a little while.

I had my general cleaning yesterday at my employer's place and I also had a general cleaning in my apartment afterwards. And I'm so happy coz my apartment is now so clean,:) I ate pizza for dinner coz my host family attended a family activity at school, so I didn't make dinner for them. And while eating the pizza, I also watched the movie "Sisters". I don't understand the story very much, but I watched it until the end. I was guilty coz I was just sitting and eating pizza instead of picking up my exercise equipment (the jump rope) and exert an effort to exercise, hayyyyyyyyy!

Heart attack!

I almost had a heart attack last night as I looked after the kids of my host family for about 1 hour and a half and I was really so upset, angry and disappointed! Mixed emotions! The complete details of it you can read at Julai's Corner. I was really shaking with anger and went to bed at 2am,:(

Glad and I'm ok now. I confronted the children this morning about their behavior and they just said that they don't know why they acted that way. Hayyyy, children! My experiences here in Europe in managing children is giving a 2nd thought about having children of my own,:)

Anyways, I started reading another Jonathan Kellerman novel "Private Eyes" yesterday and just can't put it away. The story is so interesting from the very 1st page. Kellerman is truly one of my "love" when it comes to reading. I just love all his child psychology stories. So interesting, I'm never bored reading a Kellerman novel! I'll tell you more about the novel when I'm done reading it.

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well and hope you all had a nice weekend. It's so nice to be blogging here once again,:) I went away for the weekend at Ate Bren's place with my dear friends and I was not able to blog coz I was so busy having "chika2x" with them,hehehe. We always to to bed very late during weekends to catch up on one another's lives for not seeing one another for merely 5 days,hehehe. As if we havn'r seen one another for a long time and the "chikka" goes on and on.

Anyways, I have much to do in this blog coz until now, I haven't blog about the movies I watched in the past weeks,:( I'll do my best to cope up with my assignments.

A modeling contest

I am really fond of watching fashion shows and fashion magazines and it's the reason why I am hooked to the show America's Next top Model,:) About a week ago, I stumbled into a site that features a modeling contest online at http://www.lookoftheyear.com . The Clinic by Jonathan Kellerman

Finally, I'm done reading "The Clinic" by Jonathan Kellerman at around 3:30am today. I've been reading the novel for almost 2 weeks and I'm just hooked with it. I've been bringing it into my employer's place and read it while waiting for them to come down for breakfast and while making dinner. I was already reading Jonathan Kellerman's novels in the Philippines and I just love his writing. And after reading a novel witten by him, I already fall in love with the guy. I love Jonathan, just like Stephen King and John Grisham, :) Jonathan Kellerman focuses on child psychology and he has a series of novels featuring the psychologist Alex Delaware who is working with the LAPD in solving crimes with his detective friend, Milo Sturgis.

Here's a brief summary of The Clinic from Wikipedia:

The Clinic is the twelfth novel by Jonathan Kellerman, and tells the story in the first person point of view of Alex Delaware.

The plot of The Clinic centers around the cold case of celebrity pop-psychologist and professor, Hope Devane. Devane created plenty of controversy with her book, "Wolves and Sheep," that attacks men and promotes a form of controversial feminism. Dr. Delaware's best friend, LAPD detective Milo Sturgis, is given the case a few months after it has gone cold. During their investigation, Milo and Alex encounter Devane's students, husband, and fellow faculty and soon discover that there was more to Hope Devane than what the public knew about. Already awake!

Good morning my dear friends! I'm already awake at 4am,:) I fall asleep last night after praying. I'm just suppose to take a break before continuing to blog, but I continued sleeping and just woke up about an hour ago. It was for sure the after effect of being tired and stressed. Anyways, I'm glad that I woke up at 4am coz if not, then I might be late for work coz I haven't set the alarm at 6am before sleeping last night. Thanks God and I wish you all a Happy Wednesday!

Just cleaned my apartment!

So glad coz I'm able to clean my apartment after my work at 6pm. It's a little bit messy coz I haven't clean it before leaving for the weekend last Friday. I also put my dirty clothes on the washing machine, but I'm going to switch it one tomorrow before leaving for work, so I won't hear the noise from the machine,:)

I also cleaned my toilet bowl, but haven't clean the sinks (in the bathroom and in the kitchen) though. I'll do it tomorrow coz I don't feel like cleaning anymore and besides it's already 11:14pm here, so the sinks have to wait until tomorrow,:)

Jewelry surfing

I'm here in my apartment taking a break from work, but I'll be back there at 3pm to start preparing dinner. I'll be making chicken with vegetables for dinner and I just hope that the children won't be complaining this time,:)

Anyways, I'm jewelry surfing right now. Trying to entertain myself by virtual shopping, ahehehe. Though I'm not a jewelry fanatic, but been surfing for jewelries since last month coz I want to satisfy my mother's wish for me,:) Yes, my dear mother wants me to buy jewelries for myself and not just any jewelry, but a gold jewelry at that,:) telling me that even if I don't use it regularly, but it's a kind of investment since I can pawn it or sell it later. Dearest mother is always concern about it and I'm so happy and flattered about it,:) I'll be checking out the titanium necklaces at Jewelry Vortex after this post. ANTM Cycle 10

Despite being tired last night after coming home from the weekend, but still I managed to watch the finale of America's Next Top Model Cycle 10. It's the latest ANTM cycle and been following the show ever since. The final 3 were Anya, Fatima and Whitney and my fave is Anya. Though I like Fatima's beauty, but I don't like her attitude much. Anya is the sweetest among all and she haven't been into a single fight in the competition. The final 2 were Anya and Whitney, a plus sized model. And the winner was Whitney. Though I prefer Anya to win, but Whitney is ok too and her runway walk in the final challenge was much better than Anya's in my own opinion. But Anya constantly delivers good pictures and follows directions well, but her speech is a little bit weird coz sometimes she can't be understood due to her accent. I read most of the comments in YouTube and there were many who want Anya to win and many were also in favor of Whitney coz Whitney represents all the young girls outthere who wanted to become models or somebody, but are just scared coz of their weight or weaknesses. But Whitney showed that she don't have to be supper skinny to be America's Next Top Model.

And there are rumors that "While it is said that the judges felt that she had significant modeling potential, internet viewers speculated that she won because Tyra Banks' wishes to make being fat more acceptable".

Summer getaway!

Summer is not yet officially here in Norway, but atleast the weather is getting warmer and the sun is shining most of the time,:) And as the summer is approaching, summer getaway is a constant thought in my mind,:) I love to travel and go to a place for fun with my dear friends. But, I don't think I can do that this summer coz I'll be saving some moolah for the uncertainty of the future ahead,:) If only I knew where I'll be going to after my contract here in Norway, then I'll probably travel for the summer for fun.

But anyways, I won't talk further about the uncertainty of my destination after the contract, I just wanna talk about a summer getaway, be it real or just virtual,:) I was searching for summer getaway in the net and I stumbled into Hilton Head, a perfect island getaway this summer. Hmmmm, how I wish I am in the US right now, so I can have the chance to check out Hilton Head Island and have fun with friends. Hilton Head South Carolina is indeed for the entire family and it's also a dream come true for children for it's children friendly, safe and fun activities. Parents can surely relax while their children are enjoying different activities and there are even classes or clinics to teach the children new hobby or sport.

Fun weekend!

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well and hope that you had a nice weekend. Mine was great and fun with my dear cousins and friends,:) I went home late last night (around 10pm) from my weekend. I was tired, but It's ok coz I had a lot of fun. I went to the city with my friends on Saturday to attend the celebration of the 17th of May here in Norway. The day was a national holiday for them coz it's like their independence day and Norwegians are always celebrating it hugely,:) And yesterday, I was at the beach almost the whole day attending the birthday party of one of my sisters in the SFC community. It was really fun,:)

I'm sorry of I haven't posted about the movies I watched last weekend and I have to double my time coz I had another movie marathon last weekend with my friends.. So, it means that I have a lot of movies to talk and post to,:)

Got an assignment!

Ate Eves is giving me an assignment and that is to look for a site to best buy a laptop coz she's planning to buy one. The laptop provided by her host family is no longer functioning and it has been performing badly for months and too bad coz we can no longer be connected to our friends every time we spend the weekend at her place,:) I already found sites with available laptops at low prices and I'm going to give her the list this coming weekend coz I'm going to spend the weekend at her place once again. But I will still keep on looking for more sites.

I hope Ate can buy a new lappy before the end of the month. I'll keep you posted coz for sure, I'll be going with her to buy it,:)

ANTM Cycle 4

I was done watching ANTM Cycle 4 about 2 weeks ago, but I just forgot to blog about it,:) It was Naima who won the Cycle 4 and I was pretty satisfied with the result coz I was also voting for her and she's been so nice the entire competition and she don't have any problem relating with the other girls. Naima really nailed and owned the runway show with her fierce walk. Though Kahlen was also doing good, but she didn't caught the attention of the audience just like the way Naima did.

I was disappointed though coz I read bad publicity about Naima and she shoved off her hair I think a year or so after winning ANTM and a lot of people were disgusted about it. But still, Naima rocks!

Weekend movie marathon

I had a movie marathon during the weekend together with my friends. But it was really me who watched a mot of movies than them coz I was left alone at Ate Eve's place on Saturday coz the rest had "kuskos". Ate Eve's host family went to DK for a weekend getaway and so we had the chance to look at their DVD's and took some to Ate Eve's apartment. I picked the films and I was impressed with my choices,:) Among the movies we watched were The Bourne Identity, Saving Private Ryan, National Treasure, Taxi and The Bourne Ultimatum. We haven't watched all the DVD's that I picked and I'm going back to Ate Eve's place this coming weekend to continue watching,:)

My friends find my watching style so weird coz I stayed in front of the TV. As in so close to the screen while they were sitting in the sofa. I put a mat in front of the TV and I stayed there when a movie is played and I don't engage in a conversation at all,hehehe. I even joked that I'm having my "mini-theater",hehehe. I hope Ate Eves was not annoyed at me for messing at her apartment,:) I'll make a detailed post for every movie that I watched last weekend and I'll start tomorrow,hopefully,:) But gotta go to bed for now coz I still have to work tomorrow. iNet trouble for almost 3 days!

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I'm really sorry for not blogging here lately coz my iNet connection was down for almost 3 days and I only had it back last Friday morning. I experienced the same problem before : the wireless signal was in good status, but I just can't access any sites.:( It was really difficult for me being disconnected from the blogging world. I was really planning to blog on Friday, but got no chance coz right after my "kuskos", I prepared my things for my long weekend. Yep, it was a long weekend coz I only went home today afternoon coz Monday is a holiday here in Norway coz of "Pinsedag" or The Resurrection of our Lord Jesus. My friends and I are really so happy to have a one day extra rest,:)

Anyways, I read about a new diet pills last Friday. It's the newest diet pills in the market today and it's Phentermine. If you are planning to try diet pills, you may research more about Phentermine. But make a careful research before making a decision of taking any diet pills.

The Bank Job

Despite my tired body, I still manage to watch a movie today,:) I looked at the lists of movies and my eyes were hooked at "The Bank Job" coz the title sounds interesting. I watched the trailer and decided to watch the entire movie. I started watching it during my break (around 1:30pm), but I only watched for about 30 minutes and took a nap afterwards. I was really very tired. And after my duty, I continued watching the movie. I loved the story. It's a criminal movie based on a true story and the setting was in London were a group of people decided to rob a bank by making a tunnel to access the safety vault of the bank. And in the end, they found out that they were being set up or used just to get very important documents from the safety vault. But in the end, the bank robbers got away from the crime coz they were able to divulge corrupt officers of the government through the crime they committed.

Labor Day off!

Yohoo, I just came back from my Labor Day off! I spent the day at Ate Bren's place with my dear friends and we've been there since last night. We really had fun talking, playing cards and of course eating,:) Ate Bren prepared a sumptuous dinner and we all loved it. I really honor Ate Bren for her care to all of us. She's simply amazing.

I'm still up coz I'm still watching episode 11 of ANTM Cycle 4, but I have to go to bed soon coz I still have to go early to my "kuskos". But before going to bed, I'll check out first the new pocket watches at Jewel Elegance and see if I can find some nice watches there.
