Enjoying a piece of Barcelona....

Ate Becky, my roommate, and I were suppose to attend the 10am Mass on Sunday, but we got up late and was out the door at 9:57am, so we decided to just go back and attend the 6pm Mass instead. So we went back and relaxed a little bit, then at around 1pm, we went to CBN, a place where we can send money to Pinas cheaper then western union. It took us a long time to find the place, but before finally looking for the place, we went to Plaza Catalunya and took pictures...a lot of pictures,hehehe. I'll show some later, and we also ate at McDonalds after sending the money. We really enjoyed each other's company and then we also went to the asian store before the store before finally going to church.

Free to use lappy...

As i've told you in my earlier post, I'm hiding my lappy coz I'm scared that our landlady will be mad about it. But last Saturday, I brought it on the table while eating and she saw it. She even ask if I have an internet connection, so I told her that I got an unsecured connection from the neighbor, but it's just so slow. But atleast I can still connect. So now I am no longer scared to use my lappy and we also asked our landlady if we can have an extenstion wire in our room so we can charge our gadgets inside our room. And she agreed and even told us that there's an electric socket in our room, behind the closet. So we looked for it on Saturday and there it was behind the huge closet. We were so happy and it means that I can use lappy now continuously without being worried if it will be lowbat,yohooo,thanks God!!

hiding.....

I brought my laptop here in sunny Spain and tried to open it in my boarding house. 5 wireless connections are available but only one is not password protected, so I was able to connect but the connection is really crawling. We used it this afternoon, but we have to hide it from the owner coz scared that she´ll ask another charge for it for using the computer. They´re not home, but I just can´t use the lappy coz it´s lowbat and scared to charge it coz they might return early and they might caught me...argggggggg I am hiding like I did something bad,huhuhuh. How I wish I can use my lappy freely one day so I can blog whenever I want to without coming here to the net cafe everytime.

1st Sunday in Spain!

Today is my very first Sunday in Spain and I attended the 10am Tagalog Mass at St. Agustine Parish with my new Filipina friends. The Church is just walking distance from our place and I was so overwhelmed coz the the church was so nice and there were a lot of Filipinos who attended the Mass. The priest is also Filipino and his homily was so nice, it´s all about the story of the vineyard owner who hired people to work for the vineyard at different time of the day. The people working at 5pm was paid 1 dinar, so the people working early in the morning thought that they´ll be paid more than 1 dinar and they were angry when the owner paid them 1 dinar too. The story was connected with friendship since the owner of the vineyard considered the workers as his friends. I am really not so good in relating stories, but the homily really touched my heart. It´s the right homily that I need for my fresh start here in Spain. A guide for my new life in this new place.:)

I am here in the net cafe, trying to blog, so I won´t take a lot of time coz I still have a lot of things to do and make sure that I use my 1 hour productively. Have a blessed Sunday once again.:)

At home in Spain!!!

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well and I'm so sorry for not blogging in here for a long time. I've been so busy lately coz a lot of things happened to me, so I have to rush in making things. And I am glad coz I am coz everything is almost settled now and I'm glad coz I'm feeling as if I am home here in Spain!! Si, I am already here in sunny Spain since September 15, exactly one week tomorrow and so far, so good.

I will tell you more about my new life here in Spain when I have more time to blog. I will surely find time to make updates despite my hectic schedule. God is truly so good all the time and I am truly blessed and will always be in awe with His greatness! Have a blessed Sunday everyone!

Isolated for almost 3 weeks!

Good day my dearest friends! I'm so happy to be back here in the blogosphere after almost 3 weeks of isolation,:( Our internet connection here was down since August 19 (Tuesday) and we only got it last Thursday, but I was not able to blog though coz I had a babysitting and something bad came up with my work. I was so busy right now in trying to do a lot of things. I have to do all of them and I have until Friday to do it. :(

Life has been rough for me for the past weeks. Instead of booking for a vacation and surfing for nice hotels in the net (like vegas hotels and other nice hotels), I end up looking for a ticket for my upcoming, unexpected flight to a new place somewhere in Europe. Sad, but I have to deal with it and I'll tell you more about the details later.
