Getting thinner...

I had a busy sched this weekend coz after work on Saturday, I went to a dance practice for the Sinulog 2009 here in Barcelona. The Visayans were in-charge of the Sinulog, so, that's why I was part of it,:) And then today, we performed what we practiced in a program before the evening Mass. People liked the different presentations and there were even foreigners watching and asking what we were doing,:) And then suddenly, my friends who only see me during weekends said that I'm getting thinner, such nice words to hear,hehehe. But I don't feel that I am getting thinner though coz I feel the same and weigh the same,hehehe. But it's so uplifting to hear and it motivates me more to keep watching what I eat and to eat in moderation,:)

We went shopping!!

Most stores here in Barcelona were open last Sunday coz it's the first Sunday of the after-Christmas sale and I think it will last for the entire month of January. All stores has the catchy word "rebajas", which means "sale" in English. Me and my roommate are tightening our budget and we said that we're not buying things so save a little bit. On Sunday, we went to Maremagnum mall and window shopped. We found dresses at lefties that were already 10 euro and the dresses were really elegant, so we were not able to hold on to our words,hehehe. In short, we bought clothes from the sale. I bought 2 black dresses and 1 off-white sleeveless blouse. While Ate R. bought 1 black dress, 1 shorts and 1 black blouse. Hopefully, that will be our last shopping from the sales coz Ate R. is going home to PI to pick up her visa and she'll be leaving tomorrow morning. So, I'll be alone here in the boarding house once again,:(

no peace of mind....

That's my status for now and it has been that way for almost 2 or 3 weeks already,:( Though I already lift everything to God, but I just can't stop from thinking about my situation here in Spain. I'm waiting for my the result of my papers and if the result will arrive already, I have to pick up the visa in PI, but the problem is: there are already several girls who went home, who were not able to come back anymore and that's what's bothering me,:( And I am also having some concerns with my female employer and her 3 kids, so, I'm having several things in my mind and it's making me restless,:(

I surely need a break!

day off!!

Yeheyyyy, today is my day off coz it's a national holiday here in Spain, January 6 - the feast of the 3 kings and I'm glad that my employers had given me the day off coz last Dec. 8, they asked me to work even if it was a holiday too.

So, I woke up at 2pm today,hehehe (I also slept late, 3am) and I also called my dearest Mama. today is such a relax day, but it's also freezing in here. Really so cold, so we aren't in the mood to go out, plus it's also raining, so it adds up to our laziness to go out,:)

I think, we will stay inside the house the entire day and just go surfing and watching some movies.
