a busy weekend....

I had a very busy weekend, but it was all worth it coz I had a lot of fun with my friends who are already like a family to me here in Spain. :) As mentioned in my earlier post, Ate R., my roommate, had her bday celebration on Saturday. Our landlady and landlord gave a her a little surprise party and I was there connivance.:) My role was picking up the visitors at the bus stop and coz the visitors came in 3 batches, so I also end up going to the bus stop 3x,hehehe. When the visitors started coming, Ate R., was really surprise coz she thought that it will only be us.

I was not able to check PC city if the Nikon D60 sale was still on. I didn´t even have the time to buy a gift for Ate. Good thing and Ate B., our new roommate was at the center, so I asked her to just buy the gift and we´ll share the cost. She bought a Massimo Dutti blouse for Ate and glad coz it fitted her well and she liked it. :)

Yes, I´m already excited to have my day-off tomorrow afternoon. I just hope that I can go earlier coz I have a lot of things to check out in Barcelona. First, I´m going to check if the sale of Nikon D60 is still on at PC City. Then, I´m going to look for a gift for Ate R., my roommate who had her bday on the 14th, but the celebration will be tomorrow. And I also have to help my landlady and landlord in preparing the food for Ate R. And the list goes on and on, hehehe. I just hope the weather will be nice tomorrow, as to enjoy the weekend more. It was been raining almost everyday this week and I hope they´ll not fall this weekend:)

novels at eBay...

I am so glad coz I am finally back doing my ultimate hobby which is reading especially reading horror and suspense novels.:) and thanks to Vince Flynn:) I´ve been looking for a bookstore here in Barcelona that sells 2nd-hand books, just like Booksale in PI, but so far I haven´t seen any. So last night, I checked out Ebay.uk and I found a lot of books there by my fave authors. I checked out Stephen King first and I contacted the seller about the shipping cost and glad that he replied immediately. The cost isn´t too bad, so if it will not get so expensive, then I´m going to buy 6 Stephen King novels from the seller and if it´s materialized then it will be my very 1st eBay purchase.:)

a reminder...

As I mentioned before, I already left my hostfamily for 5 months coz I can´t handle it anymore. The female employer is so strange and the kids just don´t listen to me. So, even if the man is very nice to me, but I have to leave coz I don´t have peace of mind and I am not comfortable working there anymore. But it´s so funny coz I always remember them (especially the male) everyday here in my new job coz of the Grohe faucet in the master´s bathroom coz my male employer in the previous job works for Grohe before with a high position. I can´t remember his exact position, but he´s managing some parts of Europe and travels constantly.

so much things to do...

I want to do a lot of things and can´t figure out how to do them all and what should I do first:) How I wish that one day consists of more than 24 hours to give me more time to do things. But since it´s not the case, so it means that I have to prioritize things. I have to divide my free time accordingly so I can do all the things I want to do : reading the Bible, reading novels, blogging, studying Spanish, watching movies in the net and a lot more. My head is really aching coz I wanted to do them all in a day, but it seems impossible. But I know it´s possible if I will practice a good time management, but it´s one of the things I´m not good at:( So let´s see what´s gonna happen.

Addicted to Vince Flynn!!

Ohhh my, I have a new addiction now and that´s Vince Flynn or should I say his novels. It started about 3 weeks ago as I visited one of our cfc-ffl coordinators with my other sisters in the community. They have several novels there and Tita was telling us that we can borrow the novels if we want. I looked at the authors´ names and no one is familiar. So, I tried to read the summary at the back of the novels and I liked the summary of one of Vince Flynn´s novels coz it´s about the CIA and terrorism. The subjects that I really want, I´m not into love stories anyway, just in case you don´t know,hehehe. And Tita has 4 Vince Flynn´s novels. I borrowed 2 and I already finished one novel. I am still reading the 2nd one and the 3rd one is still in the closet waiting for its turn:) And the 4th one is still in Tita´s place, also waiting for me to pick it up,hehehe.

And I can say that Vince Flynn already joins John Grisham and Stephen King as my favorite authors.

new job....

Thanks God and I am already stabilized now with my work. After being a substitute for 6 weeks, I finally started working with my permanent family (hopefully) last week and so far, so good. They have 2 children, 3 and 1/2 (girl) and 18 months (boy) and my main focus is the boy since the girl goes to school. The baby is very entertaining and I never feel tired at the end of the day. I am very relaxed here compared with my old job before and the couple is very nice to me too. I don´t feel any discomfort working even if they are around. I just hope that they will not change and hope that they like me too and that they´ll decide to process my papers very soon.

On another topic, I am planning to continue taking the diet pills I bought in Thailand when I was still in Norway. I know, I already promised before not to take it anymore, but I don´t want to throw it too since I didn´t get them cheap. So, I think I´ll give it another try before finally giving up on it:)

permanent connection atlast!

Yohoo!!I am so happy coz I finally have a permanent internet connection, so it means that I´ll be blogging more often, if not everyday:) I subscribed for a wireless internet connection with unlimited usage and the it comes with a promo of availing HP mini 2133 for only 100 euros instead of the original 399 euros without internet connection. I decided to grabbed the promo coz it´s easier for me to bring the HP mini than transporting my heavy acer lappy.

So now, it´s back to business:) Thanks God! An atleast I will not be bore to death here in my work since I´m stay-in, so atleast I have some entertainment during my freetime.
